| Abstract Of life and forms in a modern city. |
In this article the problem of the relation between life and forms in the modern city are approached from a philosophical-historical perspective. This becomes especially acute when an “overflow” of institucional dimensions of modern rationality is produced. In the case of the modern city, this “overflow” is read not as an anomia but as a consequence of the encounter of diverse lifestyles in one space. In literature it was necessary to create a new form (literary genre) in order to give a symbolical form to the life of the modern man. Following this example the author invites the reader to think the urban management in terms of an appropiate alliance of the diversities that exist in a contemporary city. Key words: philosophy, modern city, popular overflow, diversity. |
